Entering the Archive Through Queer Embodiment - 2022 Lecture for University of Pittsburgh Turning Points Series (beginning 13:32)
At the core of my approach as an archivist and information systems designer is a commitment to fostering transparency, efficiency, and user-centered design. My practice is grounded in empathy; I seek to meaningfully know and understand the constituents of a tool or organization and build systems that serve their specific needs. I also aim to design from the margins to the center, ensuring that systems equally support both the few and the many.
